2019
Artistic Passion and Purpose’s mission is to promote the development of clothing designers and entertainment artists. We plan to bridge age gaps and create open, loving, and safe event spaces that will help strengthen our community and surrounding areas. We have open arms and are ready, willing and able to teach, be taught and entertain.
Here at Artist Passion and Purpose, we seek to encourage, embrace, and empower through services in garment construction, freelance hair styling , makeup artistry, interior design/staging, fashion photography, and musical/lyrical entertainment.

Covid-19 Impact
Our community, attendees, and supporters are at the core of our existence. When the world stopped, so did we. All of our work is hands on and we foreseen social distancing being the precautionary measure taken for months to come. This forced us to come together corporately “via zoom” to discuss ways we could keep our organization alive during and directly after the shut down. We were the community partners at Rutgers Express Newark at the time and had to abide by their protocols/procedures. The world re-opened slowly in August of 2020. However, Rutgers didn’t re-open until September 2021. With limited ability to run a full on business, we found a way to keep our heads above water. A sub-brand, a magazine!
The Artistic Eye Magazine- This magazine highlights entrepreneurs, love stories, friendships, family, health(mental and physical), activists, etc. as well as showcase conceptual and non-conceptual fashions for all shapes and sizes. Throughout the content build out process we trained models for print, collaborated with hair stylist, makeup artist, wardrobe stylist, photographers, and creative directors in achieving fun artistic shots for four future editions.
